Nazrul Islam Swapan Miyaji, the mayor of the local municipality, has started the month-long Iftar distribution in Mohipal of Feni city. On the first day of fasting, he stands on the Dhaka-Chittagong highway with Iftar in his hand an hour before Iftar. Iftar prepared by hand was distributed among transport drivers and workers, passengers and pedestrians. He gave not only to the commuters on this highway, but also to nearby mosques, madrassas and pedestrians on the road. The Iftar menu includes a few items including Boots, Muri, Baguini, Potato Chops, Dates, Jilapi and Bottles of Water.
It was seen on the ground, Major Swapan Miyaji stopped the passenger and goods transport and handed over an Iftar packet Yesterday afternoon. Pedestrians and working people on the road collect iftar from here. Many people came forward to take packets after Maghrib Azan. Young people engaged in iftari service are also handing out iftari to everyone very sincerely.
Mayin Uddin Sumon, who is in charge of iftar distribution, said like every year, the iftar distribution program, has been started among the fasting people on the personal initiative of Mayor Nazrul Islam Swapan Miyaji.
